The barn conversion is beautifully done, with rustic fixtures and fittings that create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. the farmhouse offers excellent WiFi, a modern TV with Netflix, and a great speaker system for playing music. the bathroom is brand new and features a fantastic shower with great water pressure. the sourdough, eggs, and fresh milk provided upon arrival are a nice touch.
One reviewer mentioned a low ceiling on the spiral staircase, which may be uncomfortable for taller individuals.

I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and cosy barn. The location was fantastic, and the hosts were incredibly thoughtful and welcoming. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a lovely welcome package of tea, coffee, butter, milk, eggs. I especially enjoyed lighting the communal fire pit to melt marshmallows for my little one. I had a perfect stay and I highly recommend this place.
The only minor issue I encountered was being able to hear the guests in the adjoining property playing loud music. However, I understand that this is not the fault of the barn itself.

The location was perfect for our city break, with easy access to Alton Towers and a short walk to a charming town. The barn itself was beautifully decorated with top quality furnishings and a comfy bed. The kitchen was well equipped and we appreciated the thoughtful touches like fresh milk and delicious home made produce. We also loved the peaceful farm setting, where we felt right at home and enjoyed the company of the resident hens.
The WiFi was a bit unreliable at times, but it didn't detract from our overall stay. The main door knob was also a bit small and difficult to turn, which was a minor inconvenience.

The hosts were amazing, giving us detailed information before our arrival and providing fresh eggs, bread, butter, and milk for us. the decor was modern with a rustic twist, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. the peaceful location in the quiet countryside was a major highlight for a relaxing weekend getaway.
Although the room and living area were warm, the lack of heating in the toilets made them uncomfortably cold. there were a few minor issues with cleanliness, such as some plates and cups not being perfectly clean.

The value for money at Nether Farm Barns was exceptional - a large living space with clean and well-equipped rooms. The location was perfect, offering a peaceful and quiet getaway with a nearby town for essentials and dining. The staff, especially Pam, went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met, even accommodating our late check-in. We were impressed by the rustic charm of the converted farm house, complete with modern amenities such as excellent WiFi, electric gates, and a cozy log fire. The thoughtful touches, like fresh sourdough, eggs, and milk, added to the warm and welcoming experience. We can't wait to stay here again.
The only suggestion for improvement would be to expand the breakfast menu to offer more variety.

The welcome gifts in the kitchen were a nice touch, especially the homemade cookies! the barn was much bigger than expected and the property was well-maintained. Great WiFi and the location was convenient for visiting nearby attractions.
It would have been helpful to have more cleaning supplies available. the lack of flexibility in increasing the radiators, particularly in the upstairs bedroom, made it a bit chilly at times.

We had a fantastic stay at a beautiful property. the spacious living area and bedrooms were perfect for our group. We enjoyed the peaceful location, with a small town nearby for essential amenities and dining options. the welcome cookies, bread, and eggs were a lovely touch. the cozy fire kept us warm, and there was plenty of wood available. the appliances, including the cooker, washing machine, dishwasher, and fridge, were all clean and in good working order.
It would have been more convenient to have a second washroom/toilet, especially when staying as a group of four over multiple days/nights.

The location of the barns is ideal for a peaceful getaway, surrounded by beautiful countryside. the barns themselves are clean and well-equipped, with lovely touches such as fresh eggs, bread, and homemade chocolate to welcome guests. the rooms are tastefully decorated, with comfortable beds and luxurious bathrooms, including a stunning freestanding bath in one of the bedrooms. the hosts are friendly and accommodating, making sure guests have everything they need for a wonderful stay.
There may be some noise from neighboring properties, but this is not a fault of the barns themselves.
